For the hinduism religion there are four goals in life. Moksha, Dharma, Artha, and Karma.
Moksha-
Moksha is the release of the soul from the cycle of rebirth. The individual soul unites with Brahman. There are different ways to get to Moksha. One way to Moksha is spiritual. It involves acquiring spiritual knowledge with yoga and meditation. Another way to get to Moksha is working selflessly for the good of society. There are four ways to complete Moksha. 1. The path of knowledge. 2. The path of meditation. 3 The path of devotion 4. The path of good works. These involve doing the duties of your life correctly.
Dharma-
Dharma is the code of leading one's life. Respect for the elders is very important. Marriage is considered the son's duty.
Artha-
The pursuit of material gain by lawful means.
Karma-
Karma is Knowledge and devotion, you can reincarnate to a higher level.Karma is the cause of their particular destiny. Misfortune in their present lives are the result of acts that we have committed in the past.Therefore they try to live the best life that they an so they can live better lives in th future.

Offerings are usually made to represent gods. The second one is cremation. Cremation is where the dead people are burnt and not burried. The third one is Compliance with the rules of the caste system. Each group has rules of conduct to be obeyed. The caste system divided people by occupation. For example, teacher philosophers are Brahmins; Fighters are kshatriya; shopkeepers, moneylenders, and tradespeople are vaishya; and servants and cleaners are shudra.
